Aug. 8-9 - The Lake Tahoe Concours d’ Elegance Wooden Boat Show, founded by members of the Tahoe Yacht Club in 1972 and hosted by the Club’s Foundation since 1994, is regarded nationally as the premier event for maritime enthusiasts.
Aug. 15-17 - Help raise awareness and enjoy a weekend of workshops, activities, food and family entertainment. Try the growing sport of standup paddling on a demo paddle board or relax in a canoe or kayak.
Aug. 1-17 - Lake Tahoe SummerFest is a world-class celebration of the arts, and the signature Concert program will offer nine classical music concerts.
Aug. 31 - This festival features the food and wine tasting festival where wine lovers can sample finger foods, hear great music, tour an alpaca farm, or try out paddle boarding.
Aug. 9 - Lake Tahoe has great events for children, like the annual Children’s Environmental Science Day, a free community event held annually for children (ages 6 and up) and their families.
Sept. 10-14 - The National Championship Air Races, locally known as the Reno Air Races, celebrate 51 years of The World's Fastest Motor Sport.
Sept. 24-28 - You'll find some of the finest VIP motorcycles around, bikini competitions, live music, roller derby, fireworks and more.
Sept. 27 - Oktoberfest at the Squaw Valley Village. Come celebrate with Squaw Valley as Winter nears. Enjoy traditional Bavarian music and folk dancers, a benefit beer garden, brats & kraut and games.
Sept. 11-14 - This annual event has marathons, half marathons, 5k's, 10k's and is even walking friendly, all with a beautiful view of Tahoe.
Sept. 21 - The Ironman Triathlon event consists of a cold 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run along beautiful Lake Tahoe.
Oct. 5-6 - Fall Fish Fest is an annual event that allows attendees to participate in outdoor activities, trail runs and interactive theater
Oct. 24-26 - Join Railroad Earth and many other great acts spanning musical genres of blue-grass, rock, folk, and more for a weekend festival in Placerville, California.
Oct. 4-5 - A local's favorite, this festival features great food, music, family games & activities, and the famous Beer and Wine Garden.
Oct. 25 - For more than three decades MontBleu has hosted the largest, weirdest Halloween costume party, long considered one of the West Coast's favorites.
