Alpenglow Sports Winter Film Series

Please join Alpenglow Sports and Dave Nettle to kick off the winter season! The show starts at 7pm Sawtooth Ridge Cafe in Tahoe City. The show is FREE!
Alpenglow Sports is proud to announce its 3rd annual winter film series. Our Nov. 19 kick-off show will be presented by the always motivational and humorous, Dave Nettle. He will present the “Magic Mushroom: A Yosemite Big Wall Experience.”
Since being established in 1972 at the height of the Yosemite big wall era, this route has retained a reputation for it's incredible exposure and complicated technical climbing. Follow Dave and partner Chad Shearer through the wild overhangs of El Capitan's Shield headwall and experience the humor and challenge of 4 days and nights lashed to the “big stone.” The evening will wrap up with a fast paced selection of back country skiing images to help kick off the biggest El Nino season on the books!
The series continues with Andrew McLean on December 17. Rock Climber extraordinaire Alex Honnold shares his recent accomplishments on January 21, 2010. Biking for a Better World will take us on a ride down the Continental Divide, Thursday Feb 11, 2010.
The cafe will offer an early bird dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Come early for good seating. There will be a raffle to benefit Project Mana and their Thanksgiving dinner initiative. This is a FREE event and everyone is welcome! Come on down and bring a friend!
