Widespread Panic performs at Grand Sierra Resort Nov. 10
Tahoe.com
Since its inception, Widespread Panic has risen to elite status among American jam bands. They are often compared to other "road warriors" such as the Grateful Dead and Phish. This southern rock band will be live center stage in the Grand Theatre at Grand Sierra Resort on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m.
Widespread Panic is John Bell - guitars, vocals; John 'Jojo' Hermann - keyboards, vocals; Jimmy Herring - guitars; Todd Nance - drums, vocals; Domingo S. Ortiz - percussion, vocals; and Dave Schools - bass, vocals.
While Herring's unique vocabulary allows the band to explore fresh possibilities, the euphoric feeling of adventure he has instilled reminds bassist Dave Schools of what has always made Panic so special. "It's like a stagecoach with a pair of horses that are crazy out of control running down a mountainside," says Schools, "and somehow, the wheels don't fall off."
Tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster outlets or call Grand Sierra Resort (800) 501-2651 or contact the promoters: Another Planet Entertainment - http://www.apeconcerts.com/
