Porter graduates from California Lutheran

Gardnerville resident MacKenzie Porter graduated from California Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
She was one of 323 students to be awarded degrees at the Thousand Oaks, Calif., campus on May 17.
Porter is the daughter of longtime Douglas School District employees Bruce and Carolyn Porter of Gardnerville. She played soccer for California Lutheran.
Porter is a 2004 Douglas High School graduate.
