Kids in costumes eat free at Applebee’s
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar in South Lake Tahoe will be treating all costumed kids to a free meal. Families who dine at Applebee’s Halloween will receive up to four free kids’ meals with each adult entrée purchase. The free meal is valid for children in costume, age 12 and under, on any Applebee’s Kids’ Meal entrée, dine-in only. The restaurant is at 3987 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe. Kiwanis to sponsor Halloween party at Kahle Community Center
Celebrate the spirit of make believe, a sense of community and spook-tacular happenings under one roof at the Kahle Community Center on Halloween from 4–7 p.m., sponsored by Kahle Community Center. Festivities include carnival games, treats and fun for all ages. Come dressed in a costume and bring an empty bag for treats. Community groups are invited to sponsor or host a booth. For information, call the community center at (775) 586-7121.
Christian Fellowship to host 20th annual Harvest Festival
The Lake Tahoe Christian Fellowship is hosting its 20th annual Harvest Festival from 6–8:30 p.m. The event will feature games, face painting, crafts, candy, a pumpkin patch and a biblical costume contest. Hallow-Kid Fest
The Horizon Resort Casino is hosting a Hallow-kid Fest from 1–5 p.m. in the Convention Center on Halloween. The free event will feature face painting, balloon animals, candy and more. Games will cost around 25 cents, and a “haunted maze” will be $2. A costume contest will begin at 4 p.m. for children age 12 and under.
Free video games and treats at Harveys Arcade party
Halloween Party, Harveys Arcade, noon to 11 p.m., all video games free play, free popcorn, free candy. At 8 p.m., DDR/Guitar Hero contests. Discounted tokens, $3 for 20 ($5 Value), Call (800) HARVEYS.
Annual Terror in Paradise this week through Oct. 31
TWCC presents Terror in Paradise, 6–10 p.m. through Oct. 31, 3446 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Ticket proceeds go to Christmas Cheer. Call (530) 542-4934.
