Two mountains, one price
Tahoe’s new "Unfiltered Alpine Homewood pass" (which offers unrestricted skiing and riding at both Alpine Meadows and Homewood) is $649 for adults; $1299 for families (2 adult passes and 2 passes for kids 18 and under); $199 for teens 13-18; $149 for kids 5-12; $369 for seniors 62-69; and $99 for seniors 70+. Kids 4 and under ski or ride free.
The new "Slightly Filtered Alpine Homewood pass" offers skiing and riding for adults seven days a week with the exception of some holiday periods (see holiday periods below). The pass is $429 and valid at both Alpine Meadows and Homewood.
Alpine Meadows' "Midweek-Plus-Sunday season pass" (valid for ages 19-69, Sunday through Friday at Alpine Meadows with the exception of some holiday periods) is on sale for $299.
For those who haven't given up on this ski season yet, the purchase of a 2009 Spring Unrestricted Ticket equals a down payment toward 2009/2010 passes: Skiers and riders who purchase the $159 Unrestricted Ticket this spring (offering unrestricted access to Alpine Meadows from March 28 until season’s end) may apply $99 of their purchase toward the adult Unfiltered Alpine Homewood pass, which results in a full pass to both Alpine Meadows and Homewood for just $550; $99 may also be applied toward the purchase of an adult Slightly Filtered Alpine Homewood pass, bring its price to $330. Those who opt for the Midweek-Plus-Sunday pass may apply $49 of their Unrestricted Ticket purchase, bringing the price to just $250.
Financing option: pay $100 by May 31; pay the balance later. Visit SkiAlpine.com to pay $100 of individual adult, teen, child, or senior (62-69) Unfiltered, Slightly Filtered, or Midweek-Plus-Sunday passes on or before May 31. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the credit card on file in September.
“The new pass prices reflect JMA’s overall commitment to provide great value as well as top-quality experiences to all our visitors to the mountain,” said Art Chapman, President of JMA Ventures.
“The family pass package in particular offers unprecedented savings, and both Alpine and Homewood have always been known for fantastic kids programs,” added Deanna Gescheider, Director of Marketing and Sales for Alpine Meadows and Homewood. “The new prices underscore our commitment to the community and hope our guests enjoy the new prices as much as they enjoy being on the mountains.”
Giving back – Pass sales to support environmental organization:
$1 of every pass sale from both Homewood and Alpine Meadows will be donated to an environmental organization. The organization will be announced at a later date.
Additional benefits for Unfiltered and Slightly Filtered pass purchasers:
Alpine Homewood Unfiltered and Slightly Unfiltered pass holders will receive 10% off mountain dining and retail at both Alpine Meadows and Homewood during winter 2009/2010. Pass holders present their pass at time of purchase to receive savings.
Additionally, 2008/2009 Alpine Meadows or Homewood adult full pass holders who purchase an Unfiltered Alpine Homewood pass will receive two all-day, adult buddy tickets to Alpine Meadows and two all-day, adult buddy tickets to Homewood for winter 2009/2010.
