Powderhound bounds off into the sunset

It's the last week of March, and that means the Powderhound is getting ready to enjoy the spring snow and start making plans for the summer in Tahoe. So many things to do, and there's still a good chance we'll get another powder day or two before the winter's done.

Sadly though, this is the last you'll hear from the Powderhound, as Tahoe.com will discontinue this e-newsletter after this edition, and merge the Powderhound report with the regular Tahoe.com email newsletter (which will now bring you the best in Lake Tahoe arts, entertainment, outdoor activities and events each week).

Sign up to receive the Tahoe.com newsletter at
Tahoe.com/TahoeNewsletterSignup and be sure you don't miss out on what's happening at Lake Tahoe this spring, summer, fall and all next winter.

And don't forget to get up here for a few more weeks of great snow and sunny skies (along with plenty of fun springtime events to get you outside).

See you in Tahoe, and thanks for subscribing.

Squaw Valley to host Spring U.S. Freestyle Championships

It's not every day Far West Freestyle athletes get a chance to charge down a moguls course alongside the top dogs on the U.S. Ski Team. Then again, it's not every day the Sprint U.S. Freestyle Championships swing through their back yard. For the first time since 1987, Squaw Valley USA will host the U.S. Freestyle Championships starting Thursday and ending Sunday, March 29.
