Feb. 13

Tea Leaf Green & The Mother Hips. Two great bands back-to-back in one great night. Tea Leaf Green and The Mother Hips will play the Crystal Bay Casino’s Crown Room starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 14. Tickets are $23 in advance, $25 day of show. Laugh at Lakeside. Comedians Tom McGillen, Tom McClain and Aaron Wilson will have you laughing until it hurts as Tahoe Comedy North’s hilarious line-up takes over Lakeside Pizza, behind Safeway in Tahoe City. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of show. Call (530) 546-5880 for details.
Feb. 14
Tracorum performs at Homewood. Tracorum creates a rock n’ roll sound that borrows from funk, rhythm & blues, gospel, Caribbean, and soul. The band will play from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Homewood Mountain Resort.
Ski with the Presidents. All your favorite presidents - Clinton, Reagan, George W. Bush and maybe even Obama - will be out on the slopes at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort all weekend. Who knows? You may even get an autograph.
Jibbing for Jacksons. Check out the all-new Monster Energy terrain park, plus 100 hot skiers and riders who’ll be competing in a Best Tricks Jam Session on Squaw Valley’s Searchlight under the bright lights while slopeside DJs spin tunes. Race your Valentine. Are there any doubts who is the faster skier of your loving twosome? Hash it out on the slopes at Northstar-at-Tahoe in the Valentine’s Couples Race from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Upper Main Street. Race is free to enter with a Northstar lift ticket.
