Welcome winter!

It's been a long wait, but recent storms have brought ample snowfall to the Tahoe region this past week, and the Powderhound is loving it.

The fresh snow has got all Tahoe-area ski resorts reexamining their plans, with most resorts now open for limited operations, and all the rest getting ready to go full blast soon enough.

That means it's the perfect time to plan your holiday vacation plans in Tahoe.

Check out our guide to
Lake Tahoe's alpine ski resorts and the many options for cross country skiing the area affords, too.
