Tahoe City to Sugar Pine Point
Distance: 9 miles one way from Fanny Bridge, south
Details: 7 miles bike path interspersed with 2 miles highway shoulder; views of the lake. Picnic areas, beaches, playgrounds, swimming, fishing, boating along the way.
Tahoe City to Dollar Point
Distance: 2.5 miles one way from Fanny Bridge, east
Details: All bike path with slight uphill climbs. Picnic areas, beaches, playgrounds, swimming, fishing, boating along the way. Detour 1 mile on Lake Forest Rd. loop for more recreation activities.
Tahoe City to Squaw Valley
Distance: 6 miles one way from Fanny Bridge, north
Details: Bike path along Truckee River ends at Squaw Valley ski area. Take 1/2 mile left fork to Resort at Squaw Creek for alternate valley views.
Joggers' Trail
Distance: 2.5 miles one way
Details: Starts at Gateway Park off Highway 28, follows parallel to Lakeshore Dr., returning to Hwy 28. Views of Lake Tahoe and lakeside estates. (Beaches are private/residential use only.)

Details: Challenging scenic route along the shore of Lake Tahoe. Lots of ups and downs, paved trail intersperse with narrow highway shoulder travel.
