Dead fans head over to the River Ranch north of Tahoe City on Highway 89 Wednesday, Aug. 6 for an outdoor concert with the revered Melvin Seals and the Jerry Garcia Band. Melvin's high-spirited, Hammond B-3 organ, and keyboards in the Jerry Garcia Band earned him the nickname "Master of the Universe" from Jerry himself.
