Montana Slim is an emerging newgrass string band from San Francisco.
Combining diverse musical backgrounds and influences, they have succeeded in creating a sound all their own.
Built upon invigorating live performances, peppered with dueling melodic fiddle, mandolin and acoustic guitar improvisation, Montana Slim will have the dance floor swaying. Passionate vocal harmonies, reflective lyrical tales, and solid foundational bass rhythms can all be found in Montana Slim's original youthful interpretation of bluegrass.
The Itals, featuring Keith Porter, David Isaacs and Ronnie Davis are Jamaica’s sweetest harmony trio! In the patois of Jamaica's Rastafarians, the word "ital" means pure and healthy, unpolluted. These adjectives suitably describe the sound and message of The Itals, one of Reggae's premier vocal groups, who hail from the beautiful countryside of Jamaica's Westmoreland Parish.
Lead singer Keith Porter explains, "Well, we really not like the environment of the city. We like to live in a country and come into the city and do our work and then go back. You get more better food fe eat out there, you know? More fresher food and fresher air and t‚ing like that."
Original members, Keith Porter and David Isaacs, deliver rock-solid and crystal-clear roots harmony sounds.
