Squaw Valley USA is reminding skiers and snowboarders that July 15, 2008 marks the first deadline for early-purchase discounts on Squaw Valley winter season passes. The second deadline for reduced rate passes is September 1, 2008, after which time the passes are full price.
The Squaw Valley pass provides season-long access to some of the most sought-after terrain in the world. With six peaks, 16 open bowls, new state-of-the-art terrain parks, and acres of scenic mountaintop beginner slopes accessed via 34 lifts (uphill capacity: 49,000 people/hour), there is no wonder why Squaw Valley is the West Coast's favorite winter playground.
Squaw’s expansive terrain and lift network, and convenient slopeside parking eliminate the hassles common to ski resorts; Squaw Valley skiers and riders spend less time commuting from the parking lot to the lifts, less time waiting in lift lines, less time combating crowds on congested slopes and terrain parks, and they spend more time skiing and riding.
