Bob Marley's original band, The Wailers, will bring their time-tested reggae tunes to South Lake Tahoe's MontBleu Resort Casino Tuesday, April 29. Expect a show that delivers soulful hit after hit. The show opens up at 8 p.m. and the Mark Sexton Band from Reno will start at 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and are available for purchase at www.renegadeproductions.com.
Sammy Hagar & the Wabos, May 2 & 3
Harrah’s and Harveys Lake Tahoe are bringing Sammy Hagar & The Wabos to the Harrah’s South Shore Room, Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3. This year marks the 5th Annual Cinco de Tahoe celebration with Sammy Hagar and the 4th Anniversary of the Cabo Wabo Cantina at Harveys. Tickets start at $60 and are available for purchase at www.ticketmaster.com.
Yard Dog Road Show, May 3
Take a visual, sonic journey to a forgotten time - sword swallowers, dancing dolls, fire eaters and sunset poetry all animated with the sounds of the Yard Dogs cartoon heavy band. It's a night of theatre, music and dance, complete with a performance by the Indigo Belly Dance Company at a seated show in the Crystal Bay Club's Crown Room. This Old West vaudeville show will entertain and intrigue. Tickets are $23 in advance and a limited number of seats are available. www.crystalbaycasino.com.
