South Lake Tahoe summer kickoff festivities scheduled June 21-22
South Lake Tahoe's kickoff to a summer of non-stop activities is slated for June 21-22 with the fourth annual Opening Day Lake Tahoe. The two-day event will be highlighted by the Blue Avenue Block Party on Highway 50 at Stateline, along with the return of the Freestyle Moto-X Rock Show, Miss Hawaiian Tropic Northern Nevada State Finals, the Tahoe Queen vs. M.S. Dixie II paddlewheeler race, parasail competition, boat parade, headliner concerts, and 24-hour indoor and outdoor activities.
