The luck of the Irish is with Steve Schwartz, the Los Angeles resident who won a free trip to the Emerald Isle from MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa while visiting South Lake Tahoe.
Schwartz, 58, was visiting MontBleu with his wife. “This will be one heck of an anniversary present; next year we will celebrate our silver anniversary in Ireland,” said Schwartz. The trip for two is valued at $3,500 and includes roundtrip airfare from San Francisco to Dublin, accommodations at a luxurious hotel and a city tour with breakfast. A scenic drive through Ireland complete with rental car and four nights of bed and breakfast vouchers is also included in the trip.
Gamers, partyers, and MontBleu’s Players Club members all vied for the trip to Ireland during the casino’s St. Patrick’s Day ticket raffle. For every green beer purchased at MontBleu, a raffle ticket was provided for a chance to win the trip.
Schwartz, the proprietor of the lucky ticket, has been a Players Club Member for two and a half years. Besides winning jackpots and free trips around the world, Players Club members are also eligible for dining, lodging and spa discounts, as well as access to high-action gaming and casino promotions.
