Harveys Lake Tahoe and Another Planet Entertainment are pleased to announce Toby Keith with special guests Miranda Lambert and Flynnville Train appearing at the Harveys Outdoor Arena, Saturday, Sept. 1. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m.
Toby Keith makes an exclusive Lake Tahoe appearance for his Big Dog Daddy Tour at Harveys Outdoor Arena. Keith’s newest album Big Dog Daddy is set to be released in June. This marks his fifteenth album, keeping him in a category of very few recording artists in any genre for whom artistic and commercial growth has been simultaneous, long lived and completely self directed.
Toby Keith first broke out into the country music scene nationwide with 1993’s Shoulda Been a Cowboy. This number one smash hit paved the way for three more hits, Wish I Didn’t Know Now, A Little Less Talk and Lot More Action and He Ain’t Worth Missing. The ensuing years saw several number one releases and multi-platinum sales.
Keith’s next single release Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue, (The Angry American) was written in response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The song became an emotional rallying cry in the war on terror, and the title was painted on tank cannons and warplanes during the hunt for Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue, (The Angry American) helped the 2002 release of Unleashed to a number one country debut, and was followed by the hits Who’s Your Daddy? and Beer For My Horses, a duet with Willie Nelson.
The following year Keith released Shockin’ Y’all and saw three multi-week number one’s I Love This Bar, American Soldier and Whiskey Girl. The album entered the all-genre album chart at number one and is currently well past triple platinum.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster outlets or http://www.ticketweb.com">www.ticketweb.com or http://www.apeconcerts.com">www.apeconcerts.com.
Show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets start at $67.50 and range up to $125.
