    There are so many fun things to do around Lake Tahoe, but festivals in particular seem to draw crowds on both the North and South Shores. Art is everywhere in Lake Tahoe! We have compiled a list of this popular genre at Lake Tahoe—the Art & Craft Festivals.

    Art Lovers can enjoy a leisurely stroll through an open-air village of artisans under the Tahoe sky. There is pottery, jewelry, sculpture, paintings, photography, woodwork, and other unique hand-crafted items. These festivals have live music, food and great prices for whatever you’re looking for or find. Find out more on their website

    Heavenly Village Fine Art Festival

    This beautiful outdoor festival will feature accomplished artists from throughout the States presenting their original work in all medium of two and three dimensional fine art, including paintings, photography, etchings, and sculpture. Each artist will be present to meet with the public and discuss their work. All work is available for purchase.

    The Festival will be located at The Shops at Heavenly Village from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is free.

    Festival patrons will also be able to visit the many retail boutiques and fine restaurants at Heavenly Village. Find out more on their website

    Pacific Fine Arts Festivals

    Pacific Fine Arts Festivals feature paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, graphics, and jewelry. These events include handmade clothing, leather goods, wooden toys, etc. in addition to fine art. Each show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Find out more on their website

    This festival will be held at Preston Field on Aug. 15-17 in the North Lake Tahoe area. A great location for an art festival! Great visibilty from the road, and lots of customer parking!

    The Incline Village Fine Art Festival will feature artists presenting their original work in all mediums of two and three dimensional fine art, including paintings in acrylic, oils and watercolors, photography, etchings, sculpture in clay, glass, metal, stone and wood. Each artist will be present to meet with the public and discuss their work. All work is available for purchase.

    In addition to fine art, fine crafts will also be presented. Festival attendees will find blown glass, turned wood, semi-precious jewelry, pottery, stained glass, and an array of high-quality crafts. Find out more on their website

     

    Beth Weber’s Arts & Crafts Fairs

    A popular Tahoe art fair, the Beth Webber’s Arts and Crafts Fair is a great way to experience Lake Tahoe’s own talented local artists. They do weekend fairs around the lake and  will feature both local and national artists at the Homewood shows, including photographer Garry “Kiwi” Moore, artist Jeff Severn, and jewelry maker James Chappell.
