12th Annual Telegrass Festival
Get ready to join Sierra-at-Tahoe for telemark clinics, bluegrass bands, relay races and equipment demos at the 12th Annual Telegrass Festival.
Beginning at 8:45 a.m. guests can register for telemark clinics for only $85 to tune up their free heeling skills in a variety of clinics that include beginner, intermediate, expert, women’s, steeps, bumps and more.
Not only will attendees have the opportunity to learn at these clinics, but they will be able to clap their hands and stomp their heels to live Bluegrass music as part of the Live at Grandview Music Series.
Hot Buttered Rum and The Creak will begin playing in the plaza at 2 p.m. Listen to the soothing five-piece progressive bluegrass music provided by Hot Buttered Rum. In the short time since this band has debuted its music, they have been dubbed as a “High Altitude Acoustic Experience,” and have been praised by fans, peers and national media alike.
