On the Hill: Bike Path from Pope Beach to Baldwin Beach
  • On the Hill Summer, brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute, brings you a video report about a different Lake Tahoe adventure every day.

Today’s activity: Bike path from Pope to Baldwin Beach.

About the ride: Dylan Silver takes us on a 3.4-mile ride along the bike path that runs from Pope Beach to Baldwin Beach, and places inbetween. The bike path is the perfect option to the crazy car traffic in South Shore each summer, and despite a broken water bottle and some near-misses with trees and shrubs, Dylan shows us what a great way to get to the water this path is.

Today’s weather: Afternoon thunderstorms are still in the forecast, and they are producing some heavy rains and lightening, so get out early. Temps today will be just 78, so grab your bike and go! — National Weather Service
