If you’re going to be in Tahoe Monday August 13, be sure to check out the local musicianship of Jesse Kalin. Kalin will take center stage performing his original music in an intimate concert setting.  With over 20 original songs written, Jesse will share material that has not been heard before. Kalin has been pursuing and perfecting his first love: music. Jesse’s original band, Moon Dogs, traveled extensively across the United States in the early 90’s opening for such artists as Peter Frampton, Chicago and REO Speedwagon. His band Cool Black Kettle, which he formed in the late 90’s released the CD ‘Move On’ in 2002, are performing weekly this summer at Harvey’s Tahoe Live Stage and The Beacon Restaurant.  His radio show, “Jesse Kalin’s Hot Picks and Hot Licks” has been airing daily on KTHO 96.1FM/590AM showcasing the local entertainment calendar.  He will be in the recording studio this fall working on his first solo CD.  Then in September he’ll perform in Sacramento, Seaside and Carmel Valley. Other cities are to be announced.
