Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival Offers Free "Young Shakespeare" Performances for Families

    Take your thespian family out to a night of affordable, quality entertainment. The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival in an annual production, in which some of the nations best actors and actresses take the Tahoe stage evening after evening to perform a chosen Shakespeare play. This year, the Shakespeare Festival has chosen The Two Gentlemen of Verona. This year, families have the wonderful opportunity to see one of 11 performances of Two Gentlemen of Verona, for FREE!

    The 2012 D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare production, an adaptation of the Festival’s mainstage offering, is designed with the young audience member in mind and runs July 29 – August 9 at a variety of outdoor venues throughout the Reno and Lake Tahoe region.
