Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts Reporting New Snow After Latest Storm

    Lake Tahoe ski resorts have spoken. New snow has accumulated in the mountains from 3-10 inches with more on the way. It is shaping up to be another great week for those lucky enough to take a few hours off of work for some fresh turns. Here is some of the local snow chatter after last night’s storm:



    Heavenly Mountain Resort
    Carve into 3″-5″ of fresh snow this morning! Lifts open at 9am!

    Sugar Bowl Resort
    6-8 inches of fresh fluffy snow overnight and The NWS is calling for another 4-8 today!

    Squaw Valley
    Our favorite three words: Winter Weather Advisory. Storm is rolling in and it could bring up to a foot of snow by tomorrow afternoon!

    Kirkwood Mountain Resort
    “7:30a update! Calling 8″ to 12″ top to bottom cold smoke POW! IN office booted up & ready to rally!”

    Mt. Rose
    Mt. Rose got 1-3″ of fresh snow last night and it’s still coming down! Today is Bonus Mondays- get a $49 lift ticket at skirose.com

    Alpine Meadows
    Powder day! We received up to ten inches last night with more expected throughout the day.

    Northstar-at-Tahoe
