While we don’t have a professional hockey team, we do have some very nice, family-friendly ice skating rinks. Take the family out for nice relaxing night of ice skating. Here are our picks for some great places to take the family out on a skate date.

    South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena

If you have a sporty family, looking for a sporty rink, look no further. The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena is now a privately operated, full-service ice skating rink. This ultra-modern facility offers a regulation National Hockey League (NHL) size sheet of ice, locker rooms, café, full-service pro shop, video arcade and party rooms. It’s great for birthday parties, hokey games, or just relaxing night of skating with the kids.
