    Holidays at Squaw Valley USA

    Dec.17 – Jan. 1

    Celebrate the Holidays this season at Squaw! These two weeks are packed full of events for the whole family to enjoy. Find Santa around the mountain and in the Village to get your wish list in on time. Also enjoy the ever popular and magical sight of the Holiday torchlight parade.

    Kids can also feel the good tidings and Holiday cheer when Squaw decorates the mountain with mini stockings filled with all sorts of little presents.

    Listen to joyful sounds of Christmas Carolers to spread good tidings under the festive lights at The Village at Squaw Valley. Families can also enjoy movies, marshmallow roasting, craft making and games in The Holiday Room at The Village at Squaw Valley.

    Snow God’s Ball at Squaw Valley Dec. 17

    Get dressed up in your best retro outfit and party with the Ski Patrol! Bar One will be the place and all proceeds support the Avalanche Education Fund.This year the party is revved up with live music from Love Fool. Bring some cash so you can bid on items from Armada, Pacific Crest Snowcats and Back Country Access.

    Doors at 8pm. Bar One.

    Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 at the door. You can pre-purchase from any Squaw Ski Patroller or buy at any Porters locations.

    Holiday Festivities at Northstar California

    Dec. 17-24

    Enjoy live music, ice skating, sleigh rides and Santa himself at Northstar this year. Events take place throughout the month from Dec.17-24. Sunday’s Service will take place on the mountain at the top of the Vista Chair Lift at 2:00 p.m.   All are welcome!

    Heavenly Holidays


    Heavenly is hosting  13 days of Christmas, a two-week festival for the whole family at the Heavenly Village featuring professional ice skating shows, ice sculptors, carolers, local artists and a 16-foot snow globe where kids can get their photos taken with Santa.

    It all starts December 19, 2011 and culminates December 31 with A Heavenly New Year’s Celebration including ice sculptors, live music, fire dancers and a 9:00 pm ball drop and fireworks show.
