    Squaw Valley USA

    Mountaintop kids terrain park – for the older kids: Squaw features a snow fort, kid-friendly jumps, bumps and whoopty-doos. Kids can discover Squaw Valley’s secrets with a map designed to lead them on a grand adventure around the mountain. Kids will follow the map through Squaw Valley’s kid-friendly terrain to find fun facts about the mountain’s animals, history and natural habitat.

    Children’s ski school – for all ages: Squaw offers ski lessons for ages 3-12. Three distinct programs; Snow Cubs, Snow Sliders and Jr. Mountain School are designed to encourage skill development with a priority on fun.

    Kid-O-Rama Events for Kids – week-long event in February: Costumed skating parties and family ski racing to street parties and scavenger hunts. Big Truck Night and a kid’s concerts.

    Heavenly Ski Tahoe

    Child Care and Nursery – Heavenly’s early childhood education staff provides supervision and entertainment for kids ranging from infants to 6 years of age. Day care activities include art, circle time, puppet play, story-telling, rest time and indoor/outdoor play. This program does not include ski lessons or activities.

    Ski/Play – for children 3-4, this program introduces kids to skiing with a 1-hour ski clinic at the “Enchanted Forest.”

    Half/Half – a full-day session who children 4-5. This program includes a two-hour ski clinic, lunch and indoor/outdoor playtime. Equipment included.

    Nanny Service – if you prefer one-on-one care for you child, Heavenly also offers a nanny service which includes group play an early childhood educator.

    Sugar Bowl

    The Den – this is where kids get exclusive attention. The Den offers a full range of instructional programs for all ages. There are games and video, rest areas and warm meals. Kids get hands-on training with professional staffers.

    Kids Lessons – lessons range from all-day programs to just two hours on the snow. The Black Bear Adventures program, ages 7-12 is for the older kids while the Powder Cubs, ages 4-6 is for children. Both programs include all-day lessons, lift tickets, lunch, mountain tour and equipment rentals.
