    Ski Rentals to your door: Black Tie Ski Rentals

    If you’re looking for bike rentals, you’ll find most are located along the legs of the bike trails that make their way around the lake. South Lake or North Lake, you’ll find an abundance of bike rentals: just look for the racks of bikeslining the sidewalk. Your best bets are generally along the highway. You can rent a bike starting around $7 an hour, or choose a half day from about $20 or a full day from around $40, depending on the kind of bike. Some of the rentals sell new and used bikes too. Full-service bike shops can be found around the lake at Incline Village, Kings Beach, Tahoe City, Homewood, South Lake, Zephyr Cove … OK you’re right, they’re everywhere!

    Same thing goes for renting skis and snowboards, as well as equipment. Ski package deals, with skis, boots and poles, and snowboard package deals, with snowboard, boots and bindings, start around $39 for a full day. Most places, you can also rent items independently, and a few places offer apparel.
