Visit the Tahoe Maritime Museum (West Shore) — come learn about the maritime history that surrounds the Tahoe region. Bring the kids and give them an educational perspective they won’t forget.
Free Music at Kings Beach (North Shore) — Every Friday evening between July and August head down to the Kings Beach State Recreation Area for live music. The best part … it’s free!
Tahoe Comedy North (North Shore) — come check out Tuesday night shows at the Crystal Bay Club. Let off some steam, have a drink and enjoy hilarious stand-up from local and guest comedians.
A Drive Around the Lake — If you’ve got a full tank of gas and some time, take a drive around Lake Tahoe. You might be surprised by what you find. Give yourself at least 2.5 hours to make the entire 78-mile loop and don’t forget to bring a camera, some good music and a friend.
